Hi, I’m Debbie

I’ve reinvented myself more than once, and each time, creativity was the compass that guided me.

For as long as I can remember, creativity has been the quiet thread running through my life. It showed up in unexpected places, in the way I made a tiny hotel room feel like home during my years as a flight attendant. It was in the thrill of stepping into Canada’s Design Museum each morning after I graduated from studying graphic design. It lived in the joy of piecing together family history through old photographs and stories.

In 2012, I took a leap and launched a Professional Organizing business, which, in time, naturally evolved into Photo Organizing. What began as a way to help people clear clutter, turned into something deeper. I found myself uncovering memories, stories, and sparks of joy buried in bins and boxes.

Then, after facing breast cancer in 2014, creativity became my lifeline. Writing, colouring, painting, and experimenting with mixed media gave me a way back to myself. It was more than an outlet. It was healing, grounding, and transformative. That season of struggle also awakened a new strength in me—one that led me to train and climb to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Hiking mountains became a metaphor for embracing life and creativity: every climb is filled with steep paths, thin air, and moments of doubt, but step by step, you find yourself stronger, braver, and more alive than you imagined.

Over the years, I have explored memoir writing, drawing, collage, music, voice, and even proprioceptive writing. Each practice reminded me that creativity is not just about art. It is about aliveness. It is in the meals we make, the way we decorate our homes, the stories we share, and the choices we make to keep going.

That is why I became a creativity coach. I believe creativity is already alive in you, waiting to be noticed and nurtured. When you lean into it, creativity becomes a pathway back to your voice, your purpose, and the things that light you up.

Today, I help women reconnect with that spark within themselves, the “it” factor that brings them into flow and lights them up from the inside out.

Creativity changed my life again. If you have ever felt the quiet call for something more, I would love to walk beside you as you follow where your creativity leads.

Let’s discover your spark together. Let’s unblock your bloom!
